Does Geekdeal require an RMA number for warranty returns?
Yes. You must contact Geekdeal to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your warranty return. Geekdeal will refuse receipt of any returns that are not authorized. Your RMA number should be prominent on the packaging or shipping label to avoid confusion.

How can I get a RMA number?
You can obtain a RMA number by sending an email to ebay@geekdeal.com describing the issue you are experiencing with your product. Geekdeal may provide you with instructions to contact the manufacturer support before issuing an RMA.

How long is my RMA number valid?
For US customers, RMA numbers are valid for 14 days. RMA numbers issued to international customers are valid for 21 days. Geekdeal will refuse receipt of warranty return shipments that are no longer valid.

How long does it take to process a warranty return?
In most cases, returns will be processed within 5 business days of receipt. We can usually process your return within 24 hours. However, circumstances may cause us to take longer in processing your warranty return.

Do I have to pay shipping costs to return my product?
Yes, unless otherwise noted in your return authorization. Geekdeal only pays for return shipping on specific types of warranty returns.

Can I return software that has been opened?
No. Opening software will void Geekdeal's warranty return policy. If you have received a software product with damaged media, you will need to contact the software manufacturer for replacement media.

What restocking fees will be applied to my warranty return?
All non-defective product returns for refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Additional restocking fees may also apply to products returned in less-than-new condition. Geekdeal inspects and tests all warranty returns.

Are cross-ship replacements available with a warranty return?
Yes. You will need to contact us to setup an advanced replacement for your warranty return. Advanced replacement availability may vary depending on stock conditions. Please send an email to support@geekdeal.com to request an advanced replacement or call us at (425) 953-1124.

How can I make deposits or payments for my warranty return?
To make a credit card transaction, please call us at (425) 953-1124. PayPal transactions can be sent to payments@geekdeal.com. Please be sure to send notification of payment to support@geekdeal.com with your RMA number in the subject.

How can I check the status of my warranty return?
Geekdeal will send you an email upon receipt of your shipment, when your warranty return has been processed, and again when we have shipped your replacement to you. If you are unsure of your warranty return status, please send an email to support@geekdeal.com with your RMA number in the subject.

I no longer have the product packaging/missing accessories. Can I still get a warranty return?
Yes, but only for replacements. You must inform us prior to shipping your warranty return. Returns for refund received with missing packaging or accessories will be subject to a significant restocking fee.

The product I received has defective/missing accessories. How can I get a replacement?
You should first contact the manufacturer support for replacement accessories. They will have replacement stock readily available. If they cannot provide you with the replacement accessories you need, please send an email to ebay@geekdeal.com.

Why haven't I received any email from Geekdeal after requesting a RMA number?
You should receive an email from Geekdeal within 48 hours of requesting a RMA number. If you have not, please check your Spam folder for any messages that may have been mistaken for spam. You should also make sure you put *@geekdeal.com in your spam filter whitelist. If you are still experiencing problems receiving our email, please contact us through eBay messaging immediately or call us at (425) 953-1124.

You are bidding on only what is in the description and what is pictured in the photos, unless stated otherwise. If it is not listed in the description or package item list and you do not see it in the photos provided then it is not included. Some pictures were taken from the earlier version of the product and do not correspond to the latest version of the product. Please do not assume anything about a listing. If you are unsure about something, e-mail us before you bid.

Payment must be received within 10 days of close of auction. Product availability is not guaranteed after 10 days. If you, for some reason, can not pay within 10 days, please notify us of your situation. If after 10 days we have not received payment without notification, we will file for a non-paying buyer notification, and we will resell the item. We reserve the right to void the auction in the case of late bid withdrawals.

Warranty/Return
This is an auction - All sales are final unless they are found to be damaged or defective. All items come with Geekdeal's 30-day warranty unless advertised differently. After 30 days, the balance of the warranty is carried direct with the manufacturer. In certain circumstances, a manufacturer may require a products warranty to only be processed direct with the manufacturer.

If the item you have ordered is defective, contact us within the 30-day warranty period and we will replace the defective item for you, unless the manufactures direct warranty supersedes our 30 day warranty. In the event that a suitable replacement is not available, a refund will be issued in the form of the original payment method or a company check.

Specific terms are:

  • Customer must request the RMA number within 30 days from the date the order was shipped. After 30 days customer must contact the manufacturer or warranty provider directly for repair/replacement.
  • Short-shipments, DOA (Dead On Arrival) and Deviations products must be reported within 5 days from delivery date.
  • Software, including but not limited to Operating Systems, Travel Guides, and related items, CANNOT be returned once they have been opened.
  • RMA numbers are valid for 14 days from the issue date, meaning the returning product must be shipped by the customer and received by Geekdeal within 14 days. RMA numbers will not be extended or re-issued.
  • All returned products found to be non-defective upon inspection will be subject to a restocking fee. Returns that have not been opened will be subject to a 5% restocking fee. Non-defective returns that have been opened will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • Returned items must not have any signs of abuse or intentional damage. We carefully inspect returned items before issuing refunds, credits, or exchanges. No returns will be accepted if the original packaging is damaged and/or missing accessories.
  • Buyer is responsible for all return shipping charges.
  • Refunds will be determined by the purchase price of the product. All fees including original shipping and restocking fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • Non-defective returns that included FREE SHIPPING in the original purchase have an embedded shipping cost that is non-refundable.

Does Geekdeal.com ship internationally?

Yes, we do ship internationally.

Does Geekdeal.com ship to APO and or FPO?

Yes we deliver to APO & FPO addresses but do so only via US Postal Service. Please be aware that USPS packages to APO & FPO addresses may take anywhere from a week to four weeks to arrive depending on the country of destination. Please also be aware that we must adhere to specific package size and weight restrictions when shipping to APO & FPO addresses.

When will my order ship?

All shipments are subject to stock availability. Most orders will be shipped the same day if placed before 12:00 EST. International and orders shipped to APO/FPO and U.S. territories may take an additional 1-3 days to process and ship.

What should I do if merchandise arrives damaged?

If you can see that the package is damaged before receiving it then immediately tell the driver you do not want to receive this package and show them the damage or if they left it you have a couple of days of grace period to file a damage claim with the carrier. If the package looks suspicious or appears to have been tampered with you can tell the driver to wait while you inspect the contents. Be sure to call us at 866-400-4335 to give us the claim number as soon as you can.

I tried tracking my package using the tracking number you emailed to me, but the shipping courier doesn’t have any information about the package?

First, check that the tracking number was typed in correctly. Occasionally, the shipping courier might not immediately scan the package. Please allow a day or two for the order to show-up on the courier’s tracking system. If the tracking number still does not provide any shipping information after three days, please contact us.

I refused a shipment or it was unable to be delivered and it went back to Geekdeal.com. What will happen now?

If the shipment was refused due to shipping damage we’ll reship the merchandise once it has arrived. If the shipment was refused because the customer no longer wants the product it will be refunded as specified in the terms of sale minus shipping costs and the 5% restocking fee. If the shipment was unable to be delivered due to customer inputting a invalid address we will contact the customer to authorize another shipping charge and then reship the merchandise. If Geekdeal.com inputted the wrong address to the carrier then the package will be reshipped at the expense of Geekdeal.com. (Note to International Customers - Often when an item is refused, we'll be charged your countries duties and taxes when the package is returned to us. Any such fees will be charged to the customer. These cost can often exceed the value of the item purchased, so be sure to check with your countries customs authority before refusing a shipment).

I think an item is missing from my order. What should I do?

Check the number of tracking numbers for your order. Make sure all the packages have arrived. If so and you still have missing parts then please check the packing material carefully as small parts are easily lost in package material. Finally, if you are still missing parts then please call us right away at 866-400-4335 and we will conduct a review of your order with the warehouse.

Products not eligible for return:

  • Any product not purchased from Geekdeal.com.
  • Products with physical damage.
  • Products or product packaging with UPC codes, serial numbers, or models numbers that have been removed or altered.

Items that are purchased as part of a combo or bundle maybe returned separately. For example, a GPS bundled with a case and dash mount may be returned without the case and mount. If the entire combo or bundle is not returned when seeking a refund, the refund will be discounted based on the cost of the items not returned.

Returning products that are no longer available or in limited supply. In the event that a suitable replacement is not available, a refund will be issued in the form of the original payment method or a company check.

Return Instructions

Please read this document carefully.
Failure to comply with the RMA (Return Material Authorization) policies outlined in this document may result in our refusing to receive your return.

RMA numbers are valid for 14 days from the date of issue for domestic customers and 21 days for international customers.
Please ship your product as to ensure we receive your shipment before your RMA expires.

Step 1: Product Condition

Please take a moment to thoroughly inspect your product to ensure that:

  • The product does not have signs of physical damage.
  • The product and product packaging have all UPC codes, serial numbers and model numbers intact and unaltered.
  • All security codes or PINs entered by the buyer are removed.
  • Bundled kits are returned as a complete kit. Example: GPS receivers bundled with maps or dog tracking systems bundled with a collar.

To expedetite the processing of your return, please:

  • Disassemble and reseal product and all accessories to their original condition.
  • Reset appliance products to the factory default settings.
  • We recommend that you return the complete product including accessories, documentation and packaging. If you no longer have a complete product, please contact us prior to shipping your return.
  • Do not include additional accessories that may have been purchased or bundled with the product.

Step 2: Product Packaging

  • Please package the product securely to ensure its protection against any damage during shipping. We are not responsible for losses or damage incurred due to shipping or improper packaging.
  • Please include only the product(s) listed on your RMA. Additional products or accessories may not be returned.
  • Include a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing with the product and any diagnostic steps taken to correct the issue.
  • Clearly label the RMA number on the outside of the shipping container. The processing of your return may be delayed without this information.
  • Please do not write the RMA number on the product packaging.

Step 3: Shipping

When shipping your return:

  • Please ship the product via a courier service that offers insurance and tracking.
  • Please choose a shipping method that will ensure your shipment arrives before your RMA expires.
  • Please save your tracking information. Your courier has web based tracking services that will help you to determine the delivery date.

Processing Your Return

Returns will be processed as they are received. The time required to process your return may vary. In general, we will process your return within 2-5 business days of receipt.

Defective Returns

When we process your return, we will inspect and test the product. Please include a detailed description of the problem to help us duplicate it during testing and determine if the product is defective. Compatibility or configuration issues do not constitute a defective product.

Replacement/Repair

If testing shows your product is defective, we will ship your replacement product to you free of charge. All replacement products will be the same as the original brand, model, and condition. If the issue with your product can be resolved by our technicians, we will ship your tested and functional product back to you free of charge. If your product is not defective, you will be responsible for the shipping cost of shipping your product back to you.

We cannot guarantee your product will be replaced. Replacement stock for your product may be limited in supply. If replacement stock is not available, we will issue a refund for the purchase price of your product (shipping costs, duties, and taxes are not refundable). If you need a guaranteed replacement of your product, please setup an RMA with the product manufacturer. All products are covered by manufacturer's warranty.

Incorrect Product

If the product you received is not the correct product on your order, we will exchange it for the correct product at no cost to you. A UPS electronic return label will be issued with your RMA. Once we have received your return shipment, we will ship the correct product to you via your selected shipping method. Restocking fees may apply if the returned product has been opened or altered.

Return Shipping

Unless otherwise instructed, we will ship your replacement to the original shipping address on your order. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to your address prior to receiving your return. Please make sure that we receive and confirm your change of address before shipping your return.

Domestic return shipments may be shipped via UPS ground service, USPS Priority mail, or USPS First class mail depending on the size and weight of the product. International return shipments may be shipped via USPS International Priority mail or USPS International First Class mail. International shipments of replaced product(s) will be classed as "Returned Goods".

We will email tracking information for your return shipment when your RMA is closed.

Refunds

We will process your refund within 24 hours of closing your RMA. Refunds will be issued only by original method of payment. Your payment provider may require additional processing time to make your refund available. All refunds are for the original purchase price of the product, and do not include shipping costs. All non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Additional restocking fees may be applied to products returned in less than original condition.
